This project is engaged in the conservation of our environment. The main purpose is to acquire the largest amount of forest land that is still redeemable in order to assure Oxygen generation and Carbonic Dioxide absorption, leading to the reduction of greenhouse effect and the decrease of global warming, to benefit mankind and all sort of living species.

TARGETS OF THE FOUNDATION:

• To generate clean atmospheric oxygen through the protection of forests and its biodiversity.
• To achieve elimination of atmospheric carbon dioxide –originator of the greenhouse effect that leads to global warming–
• To protect underground water sources, springs and rivers.
• To safeguard the fauna of the region.

MISSION:

• To acquire lands with primary and secondary forests adjoining, The University for Peace, United Nations. in The Rodeo Protective Zone, Costa Rica.
• To reforest areas that have been cut down.
• To enrich and promote the proper vegetation and thus generate oxygen and benefit the water sources.
• To protect the different animal species of the zone, particularly those in danger of extinction.

• To provide the resources which generate atmospheric oxygen and captures the harmful carbon dioxide.
• To create in the acquired land, an Ecological Space suitable for scientific investigation and for people interested in environmental resources and the protection of the Planet.

LET US HELP OUR PLANET:

Nowadays high levels of atmospheric contamination threaten our planet and its inhabitants.

The purpose of the Foundation is the acquisition of land in The Rodeo Protective Zone, which is comprised of primary and secondary forest, with exuberant wild flora and fauna, water springs, clean, unspoiled streams that come down the mountains and through its forests.  This forest vegetation generates abundant oxygen –O2–and restrains harmful gases as carbon dioxide –CO2–thus contributing to diminish the greenhouse effect that leads to global warming.

Through a financial contribution (donation) you would make these universal purposes real. The contribution you make to the Foundation will be used to acquire and protect land with forest in the Rodeo Protective Zone adjacent to the University for Peace, a United Nations Organization. This land is approximately 32 Kilometers (20 miles) from downtown San Jose, about a 35-minute drive.

Upon receiving your ecological donation, we will send you –either by regular mail or e-mail– yourreceipt for said donation and a “Sponsor of the Protection of the Planet” certificate.

We will provide you periodic information about the progress of the land that is acquired. By your financial collaboration the Foundation will be able to acquire and protect more land. Your collaboration in this initiative will give you the great satisfaction of having helped our planet through successful reduction of the greenhouse effect leading to lessen the global warming. Thus leaving humanity a better world!
